Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods - Family Dinner Night

For the past few years we have been buy the all natural frozen meals from Michael Angelo's. We love their authentic taste, all natural ingredients, made in small batches from scratch and their affordable price.

Recently Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods - makers of authentic and all-natural Italian prepared and frozen meals - announced the launch of five new large sizes of 100 percent natural meals at Walmart. With new sizes of brand favorites including Meat Lasagna available in 46 ounces and 80 ounces, Baked Ziti with Meatballs in 44 ounces and Eggplant Parmesan in 44 and 80 ounces, customers can let Michael Angelo’s take care of the cooking for a party of any size.

Just like every Michael Angelo’s meal, each of the new all-natural sizes are comprised of 100 percent natural ingredients, without any additives or fillers. Michael Angelo’s authentic, homemade tastes comes naturally with vine-ripened tomatoes, imported Italian cheeses, and fresh vegetables and herbs sourced from some of the best farms in the world. Unlike many other brands in the freezer aisle, every Michael Angelo’s ingredient is selected with care by Michael and his mom, Sara, ensuring authentic taste from the seed in the ground to the meal in your freezer. Where other frozen meal makers may skimp on imported ingredients and cut corners on sourcing to save on production costs, Michael Angelo’s gourmet, homemade style makes every bite a wholesome and nutritious experience.

We were given vouchers for Walmart so that we could pick up some of these new larger Micheal Angelo's meals and were pretty excited about it. We were having some family members over for dinner to work out the final arrangements for my daughter's upcoming wedding. These meals were just perfect to serve as our main course and I didn't have to spend hours in the kitchen!

We picked up two of the Michael Angelo's Eggplant Parmesan and two of the Micheal Angelo's Meat Lasagna to make & serve to the family. I also prepared a fresh garden salad, toasted garlic bread and an apple pie for dessert.

One of the things I like about Michael Angelo's frozen foods is that I can make these dinners in my oven or if I am pressed for time or it is blazing hot in the summer, I can make them in my microwave oven. Either way, they come out piping hot & just perfect.

Regarding taste? No other frozen meals even come close to comparing! Yes, we have tried other brands in the past but didn't care for them. Micheal Angelo's is indeed our preferred brand! Each of the dinners taste authentic because they are! You can tell that they are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. There is plenty of tomato sauce, spices and cheese. They never skimp on their ingredients at all. Nope, Never!

Within 30 minutes I had dinner on the table and all 8 of my guests were enjoying their meals. I didn't have to slave away for 3 hours preparing a dish of lasagna and a dish of eggplant parmesan. Furthermore, I made one in the oven and one in my microwave and my dinner guests couldn't tell which one was prepared by which method. That speaks to quality for sure!

The Meat Lasagna, now available in 46 or 80 ounces, is a Michael Angelo’s best-seller made with Pecorino Romano cheese, imported from Italy. Fresh beef, vine-ripened tomatoes and a secret blend of herbs are sautéed in imported olive oil and layered with al dente, 100 percent semolina lasagna noodles and premium cheeses to make the best pre-made lasagna dish available. The family-treasured Eggplant Parmesan, in 44 or 80 ounces, is made simply with fresh, lightly-breaded eggplant and just the right amount of tomato sauce, topped with Mozzarella and sprinkled with a blend of imported Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano cheeses. Michael Angelo’s Baked Ziti with Meatballs is made carefully with 100 percent semolina ziti pasta and Sara’s beef meatballs, made with only ingredients found in any every day kitchen. Combined with vine-ripened tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese and sprinkled with Romano cheese, this Italian classic is a crowd-pleasing combination.

You can find Micheal Angelo's Gourmet Foods in various retailers across the nation. If you are looking for the new larger sizes, you can find them at your neighborhood Walmart superstore.
