Today I thought I would make a blog post about some of my favorite appliances that I own from the great company called KitchenAid. Before I get started on my favorites I wanted to tell you that you can find discounts from kitchenaid by looking for coupon codes online.

Okay...let's get started. About 10 years ago I invested in one of my favorite kitchen appliances and that is my heavy duty stand mixer from KitchenAid. Yes...stand mixers are expensive but if you buy a good quality one like any of those sold by KitchenAid it will last for years. For the past 10 years I have left mine sit out on my one kitchen counter and I use it almost every day! Since I absolutely love to cook and bake...this is my "must have" kitchen appliance!!!

Last year for my birthday my darling husband of 27 years got me a brand new slow cooker from KitchenAid. I love this slow cooker as it has a large 6 quart capacity and I use it 2-3 times every week to make family dinners like pork roast & sauerkraut, beef roast & potatoes, chinese spare ribs in barbecue sauce, etc. I also use it to make desserts on the weekends...we love slow cooker cherry cobbler and I try to make that for the family once a month.

Another product that I own and love from the great folks over at KitchenAid is my 5 speed blender! Mine is actually in the popular "red" color that they sell and I use that thing almost every day! It is the best blender that I have ever owned and it makes the most fantastic milkshakes and fruit smoothies! During canning season I like to use it for processing my tomatoes for when I am making and canning homemade tomato sauce. It does a fantastic job at turning my tomatoes into tomato puree.

Now that my 28th wedding anniversary is rapidly approaching (April 2012) I have asked hubby to buy me a new KitchenAid countertop oven! I have had my eye on that 12" countertop oven for the past year and this year...I definitely want it! I think it would be fabulous to make our hot sandwiches in for lunchtime and I think it would come in very handy during the hot and steamy summer months when I don't want to use my conventional oven because it would heat up our home way too much! Yes folks...I want that KitchenAid countertop oven badly!

I am a huge KitchenAid fan and hopefully I can keep adding to my KitchenAid appliance collection. I know people often tell me that KitchenAid products are too expensive but in my personal opinion...you get what you pay for and when you purchase KitchenAid brand appliances you know they are built to last!
