My Bucket List - Visiting a Sonoma Winery

As you all know, I absolutely love to prepare good food for myself and my family. I could spend hours upon hours in my kitchen dreaming up new delicious foodie concoctions and never get bored!

What you don't know about me is that I love to travel and I love to take winery tours. I am very fortunate that my husband also loves to travel and it's something we enjoy doing together. There is just something fun, relaxing and romantic when a couple visits a winery on a tour!

Last month we were putting together our travel bucket list for the year 2013 and one of the things we want to do next year is visit some wineries across the US. We would love to visit the west coast and visit a Sonoma Winery and do the whole winery tour thing! We have never visited the area and it's definitely at the top of our travel bucket list for next year.

I have very good friend who lives in California who I consider to be a semi-expert in wine and I would love to pick up her & her husband and take them with us to do a few winery tours around the region. Yes, that sounds like a fine vacation plan to me!

Hubby and I are not experts when it comes to wine or visiting wineries and I would definitely classify us as "newbies". If you have any tips or suggestions on wine or winery tours that we should take, please feel free to leave your ideas/tips below.
